ROLE OVERVIEW

The role of a Senior Optimizely Developer at Candyspace is a senior-level position focused on crafting market-leading solutions for clients and championing the cause of technical excellence within the business. You should be a proficient Optimizely developer, ready to tackle any technical challenge or task with confidence and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the architecture, design and development of websites and digital solutions using Optimizely CMS, ensuring best practices and industry standards are met.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, QAs, UX/UI specialists, and other developers to create seamless and responsive digital experiences.
Ensure the scalability, performance and security of Optimizely implementations through effective design and coding practices.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing and integration testing to maintain high-quality code and meet project deadlines.
Integrate Optimizely solutions with third-party applications and services to enhance functionality and user experience.
Provide technical leadership in problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Stay abreast of the latest Optimizely features, updates and best practices to drive innovation and technical excellence within the team.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Core Competencies

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focussed on Optimizely CMS and Commerce development
Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver complex web solutions on the Optimizely platform
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
A portfolio of projects that showcases your expertise in Optimizely development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Optimizely CMS Developer Certification highly desirable

Ability to independently manage and lead meetings, workshops and project playbacks to senior stakeholders
